Drinking Water

Drinking water contact materials are regulated in Germany and in near future as well in Europe based on positive lists of substances which can be used for manufacturing of the final products. Listing of substances and their use to manufacture final products may be associated with restrictions regarding their migration to drinking water.

According to the KTW-BWGL and the Migration Modelling Guideline of the German Environmental Protection Agency (UBA) application of migration modelling is acceptable as an alternative to experimental testing.
